Highlights of the day:
Our route took us along the full length of New Hampshire’s Atlantic coastline, all 23-ish miles of it. We waved as we went by Wallis Sands Beach (famous in AbB circles as the end point for two of our cross country tours). We munched at our SAG stop in Hampton Beach and then headed down into Massachusetts, crossing over the Merrimack River into Newburyport.
Our group split a few miles up the road, some opting for the shorter planned option and some opting to head down the Merrimack a few more miles to get a little more leaf peeping in today. The color along the river was beautiful and enjoyed by the riders on gently rolling, nicely paved (for the most part) roads. Miles added, pictures taken, we all converged on our hotel in Amesbury. It was another nice day on the bike.
