Hamburg to Canandaigua, NY
A 95 mile ride that was full of quirks. First we rode 20”s, as in Route 20A and then Route 20 for the enitre day. Second of all, the rain storm that hit most of the riders early on was not expected, nor was it much appreciated – just another example of the Weather Channel gone wrong. Third, our riders were treated to two iconic places along the route – Tom Wahl’s in Avon, where Wahlburgers & root beer floats were consumed, and then it was on to Sharks, where a kiddie cone was as big as most other places large, AND it’s all homemade. Lastly, our riders were introduced to Wegmans, where the food is unlike anything you think you will find in a grocery store. Yes, I’d say it was a good day!
Tomorrow we continue our riding in the Finger Lakes region as we head to Liverpool.
Come back to see how they did.
