Richmond, IN to Marysville, OH
We took the long and winding road from Richmond, IN, to Marysville, OH today. It wasn’t the getting out of Indiana that was much of a problem, as 2 miles into the day we hit a new state, it was the rest of marching along that seemed to be a bit bothersome. First we had to deal with a bridge out (nothing new) that added a few more miles, then some of our riders must have tired of the left, right, left, right, and decided to spice things up a bit. This resulted a few more bonus miles. Next came the climbing, nothing really drastic, just enough to get one’s attention. On the bright side, we had another day of below average temps, along with our yearly visit from former ABB rider JL, who graciously brought cold water and Gatorade. Well done!
I found a covered bridge today while out looking for some riders. The link is here
Tomorrow we have another century (today was “supposed” to be 105 miles) as we ride 103 hillier miles to Wooster, OH
FYI, we have less than two weeks to go before we see the Atlantic Ocean <- how did that happen??
Come back and see how they did.
