Price to Green River
Well, the winds give you a nice day, and sometimes they are fickle, and make you work a little harder for you evening meal and bed. Today was such a day. On paper, it looked to be another rest day type of ride, with very little climbing and an elevation drop, too! I started riding today with the Jelly Belly/Dutch/One Lone American group, and we took advantage of several strong riders to advance as far as the rest stop @ 27 miles. It was pretty evident, however, that we could not continue this pace for the other 40 miles. Once we broke up the wind had its way, that and some Utah road that could pass for the paves of the Paris-Roubaix.
No matter, all our riders did great.
Tomorrow we head out of Utah and into Colorado; thus checking another state off our list!
Come back and see how they did.
