Provo to Price, with a tailwind IS NICE!
Normally, we have to get out of Provo at an early time to avoid the major winds that almost always confront the riders as they enter their first climb around the Spanish Fork Peak area. As they approached today’s first climb they were greeted with windmills that were facing the direction they had come from, meaning a tailwind! And how that wind continued to blow, even over Soldier’s Summit and down into Helper. Heck, it even blew them into Price. What a sweet day for a bike ride.
I am thinking the only downside to today might have been the cool temperatures we had at ride start. In Price, we managed to get to a comfortable 77!
Tomorrow we have another Utah day planned as we ride to Green River
Come back and see how they did.
